One way to ensure users will convert would be to tap into the Android Market of apps. Not an easy task but OpenMobile promises to bring a compatibility layer to Tizen so the Android apps will run in the environment. http://www.openmobileww.com/#!acl-for-tizen/ciet OpenMobile's Application Compatibility Layer (ACL)™ enables Android apps to run on non-Android operating systems, ACL for Tizen is coming soon! With ACL, Tizen can be filled with a robust app ecosystem featuring hundreds of thousands of apps, no matter the device: smartphone, tablet, smart TV, in-vehicle infotainment, in-flight infotainment, etc. ACL will deliver a powerful app ecosystem on platforms never before possible.
