Introducing a smarter way to prepare for your next event—weather insights, right where your ticket lives.

The Problem Every Event-Goer Knows

We've all been there. You're heading to an outdoor concert, a weekend football match, or a long-awaited festival. You have your ticket ready in Samsung Wallet. You arrive at the venue—and then it hits you, literally. Rain you didn't plan for. Wind that turns your umbrella inside out. Heat you didn't dress for.

The forecast was out there, sure—buried in a separate weather application you forgot to check. Or maybe you glanced at it last night, but things changed by morning. The truth is, weather information and event details have always lived in two different worlds. Until now.

Meet Weather Forecast in Samsung Wallet

Samsung Wallet is closing the gap between knowing your plans and being prepared for them. With our newest feature—Weather Forecast—real-time weather information is now embedded directly into your ticket details page. No application switching. No guesswork. Just the forecast you need, precisely when and where it matters most.

Powered by The Weather Channel (TWC), one of the world's most trusted weather data providers, this feature automatically pulls the forecast for your event's exact location and time—so you always know what to expect before you step out the door.

How It Works

The Weather Forecast integration is seamless by design. Here's what you'll see when you open a ticket in Samsung Wallet:

Weather at a Glance. A clean, lightweight widget appears right beneath your event's location details, showing the expected conditions at event start time: temperature, weather icon (sun, rain, snow, storm, and more), and the event location name.
Forecast for Your Event Time. Not the current weather. The weather when your event starts. Whether it's a 7 PM concert tonight or a Saturday afternoon game three days from now, you'll see the forecast tailored to the moment that matters.
Severe Weather Alerts. In supported regions (including the US, Canada, Japan, Europe, Australia, and South Korea), government-issued severe weather warnings appear directly on the widget. If there's a storm advisory or heat warning, you'll know before you go.
Full Forecast, One Tap Away. Want the hour-by-hour breakdown? A single tap on the widget opens The Weather Channel's detailed forecast page—giving you the complete picture for the entire day of your event.

Why It Matters

This isn't just a nice-to-have. Weather Forecast on your tickets is a meaningful upgrade to how you experience events:

Be Prepared, Not Surprised. Know whether to pack an umbrella, grab a jacket, or slather on sunscreen—before you leave the house, not after you arrive.
Everything in One Place. Your ticket, your venue details, and now your weather forecast—all on one screen. No more bouncing between applications and trying to remember if you checked the right city.
Timely, Not Intrusive. The weather widget appears automatically one week before your event and stays current with every refresh. It's there when you need it and gone once the event is over. No clutter, no noise.
Smart Precipitation Tracking. The feature specifically checks for rain and precipitation in the critical window around your event—from 4 hours before through 1 hour after—so you're alerted to the conditions that matter most for getting there and getting home.

Built for the Real World

Life doesn't always go perfectly, and neither do data connections. That's why Weather Forecast is designed with graceful fallbacks at every step:

No Internet connection? You'll see a clear message that weather data is unavailable—not a blank space or a loading spinner.
Missing venue location? A simple "Check the weather" link still lets you manually look up conditions.
API hiccup? A friendly prompt guides you to check the forecast directly on The Weather Channel's site.
Multi-day event? You'll see the forecast for the start time before the event begins, then current conditions during the event days.
Event over? The widget disappears automatically. Clean and simple.

Privacy by Design

Here's something you'll appreciate: Samsung Wallet does not use your device's GPS or collect any personal location data for this feature. The forecast is based solely on the event's venue information—the city and location already associated with your ticket. No tracking, no data sharing with third parties. The partner website opens only when you choose to tap. Your privacy stays intact.

Global Reach, Local Precision

Weather Forecast in Samsung Wallet is rolling out across Samsung Wallet markets globally, excluding China. Whether you're attending a K-pop concert in Seoul, a Premier League match in London, or a Broadway show in New York, your ticket now comes with a built-in weather briefing.

More Than Just Tickets: A Vision

While the first release focuses on event tickets and boarding passes, the architecture is built for expansion. Imagine checking the weather for your hotel reservation, your restaurant booking, or your hiking trip—all from within Samsung Wallet. This is the first step toward making Samsung Wallet not just the place where you store your plans, but the place where you prepare for them.

The Bottom Line

Samsung Wallet has always been about convenience—keeping your cards, tickets, and passes in one secure place. With Weather Forecast, it becomes something more: your personal event companion, helping you arrive ready for whatever the sky has in store.

No more arriving drenched. No more shivering in the stands. No more scrambling for weather information across multiple applications. Just open your ticket, check the forecast, and go—confident and prepared.

Weather Forecast in Samsung Wallet—because the best events are the ones you're ready for.

Retail managers and franchise operators know the hassle of updating paper posters across multiple locations. For frequently changing content — such as class schedules, seasonal notices or limited-time promotions — paper posters may be simple to place, but the repeated time and cost of printing and replacing them can quickly add up.
Samsung Color E-Paper provides a more efficient way forward. Utilizing digital ink technology, it maintains the visual appeal of traditional paper posters while significantly reducing the challenges associated with installation and management. This is a super-thin, ultra-low power and lightweight digital signage that transforms the traditional paper experience.
Unlike conventional digital signage, it consumes zero watts power when showing static images.1 When content is updated, overall energy use remains far lower than that of conventional digital signage, which helps lower operating costs over time.2
▲ (From left) Samsung Color E-Paper lineup in 20”, 13” and 32” displays Available in 32-inch, 20-inch and 13-inch sizes, it also makes the transition to digital easier in real spaces. The 20-inch3 and 13-inch sizes align with familiar paper formats so that businesses can move from print to digital without redesigning layouts. The signage can be wall-mounted, hung or placed on a movable stand, so it works flexibly across café counters, retail walls, and franchise locations.4
▲ Easy to install, Samsung Color E-Paper works for various retail environments. With the dedicated Color E-Paper mobile app,5 local management stays simple. Content can be updated right from a mobile device, allowing changes to be made instantly on the spot.
For businesses operating both Color E-Paper and other connected displays, Samsung Visual eXperience Transformation (VXT)6 makes remote display management straightforward. Updates roll out instantly without the need for manual visits — making Samsung Color E-Paper an ideal smart signage solution for business of all sizes, from small retailers to large franchises.

Samsung Electronics today announced the global launch of The Freestyle+, its latest AI-powered portable projector designed to deliver a more flexible and personalized entertainment experience across a wide range of spaces.
Unveiled ahead of CES 2026 in Las Vegas, The Freestyle+ builds on the distinctive design of the original Freestyle while introducing smarter AI capabilities, improved brightness and expanded entertainment features — allowing users to enjoy content more freely, with minimal setup or adjustment.
“The Freestyle+ reflects Samsung’s vision to create displays that adapt naturally to how people live and move between spaces,” said Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. “By combining true portability with intelligent AI that optimizes both the viewing environment and the content itself, The Freestyle+ makes it easier to enjoy a consistent, high-quality experience wherever you are.”

Smarter AI That Lets You Point and Play Instantly
At the core of The Freestyle+ is AI OptiScreen, Samsung’s AI-powered screen optimization technology that automatically adjusts the picture to different spaces — so users can simply point, place and start watching.
AI OptiScreen includes a set of intelligent features designed to automatically optimize the picture across different surfaces and environments:
3D Auto Keystone automatically corrects distortion even when projecting onto uneven or non-flat surfaces, such as corners, curtains or angled walls. Real-time Focus continuously adjusts focus as the projector moves or rotates, helping maintain clear, stable images without blurring or visual noise. Screen Fit automatically adjusts the image to match the screen area when used with a compatible projector screen accessory. Wall Calibration analyzes the color or pattern of the projection surface and minimizes visual distractions for clearer viewing. This intelligent viewing experience is further supported by Vision AI Companion, Samsung’s personalized AI platform for screens, which integrates enhanced Bixby with AI services from global partners to enable more natural, conversational interaction with on-screen content.

Light to Carry, Designed for Everyday Viewing
Designed with portability in mind, The Freestyle+ features a compact cylindrical form factor that is easy to move between rooms or take on the go. With 430 ISO Lumens, it delivers nearly twice the brightness of the previous generation, helping content appear clear and engaging in everyday living environments.
Designed for everyday viewing, The Freestyle+ lets users move it freely without worrying about whether the space is “right” for projection. Its 180-degree rotating design supports projection at virtually any angle — including walls, floors and ceilings — without additional mounts or accessories, enabling flexible viewing setups that adapt naturally to different rooms and moments throughout the day.

      On-the-Go Entertainment with Immersive Sound
Designed for moments beyond the living room, The Freestyle+ brings entertainment with you — without relying on external devices or fixed setups. Built-in access to Samsung TV Plus, certified OTT service partners and Samsung Gaming Hub allows users to stream, play and explore content directly from the projector without the need for external devices.
For audio, The Freestyle+ delivers immersive, room-filling sound through its built-in 360-degree speaker, tuned to produce richer, fuller audio in a compact design. Q-Symphony allows the projector to work in sync with compatible Samsung soundbars, creating a more layered and cohesive sound experience wherever it is used.
Samsung Electronics will showcase The Freestyle+ at CES 2026, taking place January 6–9 in Las Vegas, with a phased global rollout planned for the first half of the year.

Samsung Electronics, the global leader in soundbars, today introduced its 2026 sound device lineup, marking a new chapter in how sound is experienced throughout the home. The expanded range — which will be showcased at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, Nevada from Jan. 6-9 — delivers richer immersion, clean expression and more unified multi-device performance through next-generation soundbars and Wi-Fi speakers.
“For more than a decade, Samsung has shaped the evolution of home audio through advanced acoustics, intelligent features and thoughtful design,” said Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. “We’re continuing that legacy with next-generation sound devices designed to deliver a rich, expressive performance for any space and moment.”

Redefining Cinematic Sound With Samsung’s Q-Series Soundbars
Samsung’s 2026 Q-Series soundbars reinterpret cinematic sound for contemporary homes, offering richer immersion across a range of room sizes and listening preferences.
Samsung’s latest flagship Soundbar (HW-Q990H model) delivers its most immersive soundbar experience yet, debuting Sound Elevation, a technology that lifts dialogue toward the center of the screen for more natural sounding audio. It also introduces Auto Volume, which maintains consistent volume across channels and content for a smoother, more balanced listening experience.
The 11.1.4-channel system combines a 7.0.2 main bar, 4.0.2 rear speakers and dual 8-inch driver built-in compact active subwoofer, refined for a powerful and space-efficient bass. Up-firing channels and next-generation AI tuning further broaden the sound field, bringing a sense of scale typically associated with professional home theater setups.
New to the 2026 lineup is Samsung’s All-in-One Soundbar (HW-QS90H model), which blends performance with aesthetic versatility. Its Convertible Fit design supports both wall-mount and tabletop placements, while a built-in gyro sensor automatically adapts channel distribution based on orientation.
A 7.1.2-channel system with 13 drivers — including nine wide-range speakers — and a built-in Quad Bass Woofer system deliver deep bass without the need for a separate subwoofer.

Music Studio Series: Iconic Dor Design, Expressive Sound
Samsung is introducing two new Wi-Fi speakers, the “Music Studio 5” and “Music Studio 7,” to build a stronger integrated ecosystem. These new models enable a wider range of sound system combinations than before, maximizing the audiovisual experience. Additionally, they offer richer sound experiences while also enhancing aesthetic harmony with users’ spaces, allowing users to enjoy an improved audio environment. Each model shares a timeless dot concept by renowned designer Erwan Bouroullec, inspired by a universal symbol in music and art — and grounded in Samsung’s signature aesthetic.
Music Studio 7 (LS70H model) is the most immersive model in the series, delivering 3.1.1-channel spatial audio through left, front, right and top-firing speakers for natural 3D immersion. Samsung’s Audio Lab Pattern Control Technology reduces signal overlap for cleaner directionality, while AI Dynamic Bass Control delivers deep bass with minimal distortion and Hi-Resolution Audio enables audio processing up to 24-bit/96kHz. Also, thanks to the super tweeter, the frequency range can extend up to 35kHz for enhanced musical detail. Available in black and white, it functions as a standalone immersive speaker or can be paired with additional units or Samsung TVs via Q-Symphony for wider stereo or a full surround-sound setup.
Music Studio 5 (LS50H model) is designed for homes where aesthetic harmony is as important as sound, offering a smaller, gallery-inspired form that complements and elevates interior spaces. Tuned by Samsung Audio Lab, it uses a 4” woofer and dual tweeters with a built-in waveguide for clear, balanced sound, while AI Dynamic Bass Control deepens low frequencies without distortion. Wi-Fi casting, streaming services, voice control and Bluetooth via Samsung Seamless Codec provide smart, seamless connectivity.

A More Intelligent, Connected and Immersive Sound Experience
For 11 consecutive years, Samsung has been the global leader in soundbars, driven by a commitment to engineering excellence led by the Samsung Audio Lab in California. This foundation shapes every part of Samsung’s 2026 lineup, bringing together advanced acoustics, purposeful design and intelligent connectivity.
In 2026, Samsung’s Q-Symphony becomes even more adaptive, enabling Samsung TVs, soundbars and Wi-Fi speakers to operate as a unified sound ecosystem. Users can now pair up to five sound devices with a Samsung TV while Q-Symphony analyzes room layout and device placement to optimize channel distribution. The result is clearer dialogue and more detailed surround sound as you are in the middle of the scene.
Additionally, with Wi-Fi connectivity and the SmartThings app, users can control sound settings, manage group playback, and access music streaming and voice assistant features through a single, intuitive interface. SmartThings also provides instant music controls, making it easy to start listening and adjust playback from any connected mobile device.
Samsung’s audio lineup also includes the all-new Sound Tower (ST50F and ST40F models) launched in late 2025, offering powerful outdoor and social listening experiences that complement the Music Studio and Soundbar families. Together, these innovations reflect Samsung’s continued leadership at the frontier of home audio, uniting acoustics, design and intelligence to create a sound experience that feels effortless, expressive and deeply connected.

A smarter Bixby voice assistant on Samsung TVs now delivers a more natural and personalized experience. With a smarter Bixby, users can easily wake it up by voice or by pressing the mic button to start a conversation — no commands, no menus, no typing.

The new Bixby understands context and follow-up questions, enabling more fluid interactions that feel like a real conversation. Powered by Generative AI, Bixby can answer any questions you may have, whether you’re asking about general information, such as “How tall is Mount Everest?” or recommendations like “Please suggest chill playlists for a rainy day”. By simply asking, Bixby can help answer questions about on-screen content, as it retrieves the most relevant details and displays them on screen. It’s a smarter, faster way to get more out of your TV without breaking your viewing flow.

With this update, Bixby is now integrated into Click to Search, making it easier than ever to discover and explore entertainment and more, whether watching live TV, cable channels or Samsung TV Plus. Users can ask about an actor, a show or a broader topic — and receive answers instantly, right on their TV.

Bixby even enables Click to Search to go beyond what’s on screen. For everyday questions such as “Tell me the recipe for making pasta” or “Do you know any good movies about chefs?” Bixby delivers contextual responses using external information. It’s search made simple.

Effortless Home Device Management With Bixby and SmartThings

Moreover, Bixby is secured by Samsung Knox, the industry-leading security solution designed to protect users’ sensitive personal data. Users can enjoy AI-driven personalized features without worrying about privacy concerns, as no user voice data is stored on servers or TVs.
