Samsung Electronics is giving K-Pop fans a new way to experience the front-row energy of live SM Entertainment concerts from home — no ticket required. Building on the exclusive livestream of SMTOWN LIVE 2025 in L.A., Samsung TV Plus is expanding its collaboration with SM Entertainment to bring monthly concert broadcasts from popular SM artists to Samsung TVs and compatible Samsung devices through its subscription-free service.
The Monthly SM Concert series will be available exclusively on the SMTOWN channel, the Samsung TV Plus destination for SM Entertainment content. Available in Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Mexico and Korea, the collaboration will bring premium K-Pop performances to growing fan communities in these markets.
A Monthly K-Pop Stage, Built for Fans
To kick off the Monthly SM Concert series, NCT WISH’s first concert tour, “’INTO THE WISH: Our WISH’ ENCORE IN SEOUL,” will premiere live on Saturday, May 30 at 7 p.m. local time. Following the premiere, fans can tune in to the SMTOWN channel every Saturday at 7 p.m. for encore programming and future monthly concert streams, creating an easy weekend rhythm for watching SM performances from home.
With more SM artists and concert streams to be announced, the series will offer fresh performances and encore programming throughout the year, giving fans more ways to watch and revisit the artists they love on the biggest screen at home.
Viewers can also use SmartThings on any smartphone or Samsung TVs to set reminders before each stream, so they never miss a moment. For fans with compatible connected Samsung devices at home, SmartThings can help create a richer viewing environment by adjusting sound and lighting settings, bringing more of the concert atmosphere into the living room.
The Best Seat Is at Home
Samsung TV Plus continues to grow as a global destination for Korean entertainment, offering more than 4,000 hours of free-to-stream Korean content — from dramas, thrillers and romance to crime series, music programming and live event experiences.
The Monthly SM Concert series builds on this offering with monthly programming that lets fans follow every minute of their favorite SM performances from home, at no additional cost.
Made for everyone and every moment, Samsung TV Plus offers over 4,300 channels globally, subscription-free, and is available in 30 countries exclusively across Samsung TVs, Samsung Galaxy phones, XR headsets, Galaxy Tab, Smart Monitor and Family Hub lineups. This includes the new 2026 TV series announced earlier this year at CES, spanning Samsung Micro RGB TV, Neo QLED, OLED, The Frame, The Frame Pro and more.

Samsung Electronics today announced the upcoming global launch of the HU8000F series, its 2025 Hospitality TV. Available in six sizes — 43″, 50″, 55″, 65″, 75″ and 85″ — the HU8000F empowers hotel owners with powerful management tools to elevate guest stays while providing visitors with effortless streaming and connectivity options through Google Cast. Samsung will unveil the HU8000F series at HITEC 2025, the world’s largest and longest-running hospitality technology event, which takes place between June 16-19 in Indianapolis, USA.
“Samsung’s HU8000F Hospitality TV series delivers a new level of in-room experience, combining brilliant 4K picture, advanced streaming and easy management,” said Hoon Chung, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display (VD) Business at Samsung Electronics. “With Google Cast support, an AirSlim design and integrated cloud capabilities, we are redefining what’s possible for hotel entertainment worldwide.”
Premium Picture Quality, AirSlim Design and Effortless Streaming
The HU8000F is powered by Samsung’s Crystal Processor 4K and features HDR10+ and Dynamic Crystal Color, immersing hotel guests in one billion shades of color with lifelike clarity and detail. Additionally, its sleek AirSlim design creates an elegant, nearly bezel-free look that complements any hotel space.
The new model has expanded content options for guests by adding Prime Video to its portfolio — along with Netflix and Samsung TV Plus — which are all accessible from the Tizen OS Home. For an enhanced viewing experience, the HU8000F also includes adaptive sound technology, providing real-time audio scene analysis and quality optimization to any news program, sports game, musical performance, TV show or movie.
Hotel-Ready Features and Integrated Hospitality Solutions
For centralized remote management and actionable business insights for hotel managers, Samsung LYNK Cloud streamlines global hospitality operations while helping drive incremental revenue through targeted promotions. With SmartThings Pro and a multi-code remote, hotel staff can offer personalized in-room experiences and ensure interference-free control, enhancing both convenience and guest satisfaction.
As Google Cast is integrated directly into Samsung’s hotel TV series, guests can easily access their favorite content from 5,000 Cast-enabled apps by mirroring their Android and iOS devices on the TV, without the need for additional dongles or login requirements. Embedding Cast also reduces costs for hotels and system integrators by removing the need to buy and maintain extra hub-type devices, avoiding the risk of theft for those types of devices and freeing up an HDMI port.
For hotels currently using the HBU8000, a software update will soon be available to enable Google Cast without interrupting service.1 This upgrade has already been successfully deployed in Indonesia at The Apurva Kempinski Bali and Swissôtel Living Jakarta Mega Kuningan through simultaneous software updates, demonstrating the scalability and reliability of the solution.
With Google Cast and over-the-top (OTT) integration, the HU8000F ensures seamless viewing options and an optimized solution that enhances viewing experiences.
Samsung’s hospitality display series is also built to include practical features tailored for hotel environments, including RJ12 connectors, bathroom speaker support and LAN output ports. Powered by the intuitive and secure Tizen platform, the HU8000F offers smooth navigation, enterprise-grade protection with Samsung Knox and flexible connectivity through multiple HDMI and USB ports.

Nestled in the heart of Los Angeles, this state-of-the-art theatrical post-production studio is a recent addition to Amazon’s portfolio of production and entertainment businesses, further enhancing the area’s reputation as a hub for creativity and innovation.
In partnership with industry pioneers 424 Post and Harbor, Samsung provided a 34-foot, 8K Samsung IWA LED and DCI-certified 4K Samsung Onyx LED displays to create a true cinema-style environment for theatrical color grading and immersive sound mixing. The groundbreaking studio environment not only signifies a leap into the future of cinematic production and consumption but also underscores the trust that experts place in Samsung’s technology.
Culver Post: A Beacon of Innovation in Post-Production and HDR Cinematography
▲ Samsung Electronics provided a 34-foot, 8K Samsung IWA LED and DCI-certified 4K Samsung Onyx LED displays to Culver Post in partnership with 424 Post and Harbor
Culver Post was created thanks to the visionary collaboration between renowned Los Angeles sound studio 424 Post and global post-production leader Harbor. This full-service post-production studio is expected to bring unmatched HDR and SDR mastering capabilities.
Why were Samsung’s display technologies specifically chosen by 424 Post and Harbor, both leaders in their respective fields? The answer lies in Samsung’s commitment to innovation, quality and the immersive viewing experience.
The Culver Post offers five stages for theatrical color grading and sound mixing, with the first stage outfitted with Samsung’s cutting-edge 34-foot, 8K IWA LED cinema display and the second stage with the DCI-certified 4K Onyx LED display. Each stage is complemented by Meyer Sound Ultra Reflex cinema sound systems featuring Dolby Atmos sound. Both stages can accommodate approximately 50 guests, which allows the post-production team to experience a true cinematic working environment for directors, cinematographers, editors, colorists and other professionals.

The 8K IWA LED cinema display is ideal for both HDR and SDR color grading, while Onyx, the world’s first DCI-certified cinema LED display, is perfect for HDR color grading and mastering. These displays outperform standard digital cinema projection systems in terms of detail, contrast and brightness, positioning Culver Post at the forefront of cinematic technology and ensuring that the studio is future-proofed for upcoming advancements in post-production technology.
“Samsung is committed to using innovative display technology to revolutionize the way that content is created and consumed,” said David Phelps, Head of the Display Division, Samsung Electronics America. “The new Culver Post post-production studio marks a tangible milestone in the future of cinema and post-production. Filmmakers and creators can now edit and experience video content as it would be seen and heard on the big screen to enable immersive storytelling that leaves a lasting impact on audiences.”

Superior Cinematic Displays to Optimize Post-Production Workflow
The selection of Samsung’s technology for Culver Post reflects the displays’ superior capabilities for HDR post-production. Enhanced brightness, contrast and detail transform the color grading and mastering process, allowing creators to see their work as it will appear in realistic viewing environments. The theaters and their immersive cinema display also turn mastering into a communal creative experience, bringing the entire production team together for collaboration.
