Samsung Electronics, the global leader in soundbars, today introduced its 2026 sound device lineup, marking a new chapter in how sound is experienced throughout the home. The expanded range — which will be showcased at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, Nevada from Jan. 6-9 — delivers richer immersion, clean expression and more unified multi-device performance through next-generation soundbars and Wi-Fi speakers.
“For more than a decade, Samsung has shaped the evolution of home audio through advanced acoustics, intelligent features and thoughtful design,” said Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. “We’re continuing that legacy with next-generation sound devices designed to deliver a rich, expressive performance for any space and moment.”

Redefining Cinematic Sound With Samsung’s Q-Series Soundbars
Samsung’s 2026 Q-Series soundbars reinterpret cinematic sound for contemporary homes, offering richer immersion across a range of room sizes and listening preferences.
Samsung’s latest flagship Soundbar (HW-Q990H model) delivers its most immersive soundbar experience yet, debuting Sound Elevation, a technology that lifts dialogue toward the center of the screen for more natural sounding audio. It also introduces Auto Volume, which maintains consistent volume across channels and content for a smoother, more balanced listening experience.
The 11.1.4-channel system combines a 7.0.2 main bar, 4.0.2 rear speakers and dual 8-inch driver built-in compact active subwoofer, refined for a powerful and space-efficient bass. Up-firing channels and next-generation AI tuning further broaden the sound field, bringing a sense of scale typically associated with professional home theater setups.
New to the 2026 lineup is Samsung’s All-in-One Soundbar (HW-QS90H model), which blends performance with aesthetic versatility. Its Convertible Fit design supports both wall-mount and tabletop placements, while a built-in gyro sensor automatically adapts channel distribution based on orientation.
A 7.1.2-channel system with 13 drivers — including nine wide-range speakers — and a built-in Quad Bass Woofer system deliver deep bass without the need for a separate subwoofer.

Music Studio Series: Iconic Dor Design, Expressive Sound
Samsung is introducing two new Wi-Fi speakers, the “Music Studio 5” and “Music Studio 7,” to build a stronger integrated ecosystem. These new models enable a wider range of sound system combinations than before, maximizing the audiovisual experience. Additionally, they offer richer sound experiences while also enhancing aesthetic harmony with users’ spaces, allowing users to enjoy an improved audio environment. Each model shares a timeless dot concept by renowned designer Erwan Bouroullec, inspired by a universal symbol in music and art — and grounded in Samsung’s signature aesthetic.
Music Studio 7 (LS70H model) is the most immersive model in the series, delivering 3.1.1-channel spatial audio through left, front, right and top-firing speakers for natural 3D immersion. Samsung’s Audio Lab Pattern Control Technology reduces signal overlap for cleaner directionality, while AI Dynamic Bass Control delivers deep bass with minimal distortion and Hi-Resolution Audio enables audio processing up to 24-bit/96kHz. Also, thanks to the super tweeter, the frequency range can extend up to 35kHz for enhanced musical detail. Available in black and white, it functions as a standalone immersive speaker or can be paired with additional units or Samsung TVs via Q-Symphony for wider stereo or a full surround-sound setup.
Music Studio 5 (LS50H model) is designed for homes where aesthetic harmony is as important as sound, offering a smaller, gallery-inspired form that complements and elevates interior spaces. Tuned by Samsung Audio Lab, it uses a 4” woofer and dual tweeters with a built-in waveguide for clear, balanced sound, while AI Dynamic Bass Control deepens low frequencies without distortion. Wi-Fi casting, streaming services, voice control and Bluetooth via Samsung Seamless Codec provide smart, seamless connectivity.

A More Intelligent, Connected and Immersive Sound Experience
For 11 consecutive years, Samsung has been the global leader in soundbars, driven by a commitment to engineering excellence led by the Samsung Audio Lab in California. This foundation shapes every part of Samsung’s 2026 lineup, bringing together advanced acoustics, purposeful design and intelligent connectivity.
In 2026, Samsung’s Q-Symphony becomes even more adaptive, enabling Samsung TVs, soundbars and Wi-Fi speakers to operate as a unified sound ecosystem. Users can now pair up to five sound devices with a Samsung TV while Q-Symphony analyzes room layout and device placement to optimize channel distribution. The result is clearer dialogue and more detailed surround sound as you are in the middle of the scene.
Additionally, with Wi-Fi connectivity and the SmartThings app, users can control sound settings, manage group playback, and access music streaming and voice assistant features through a single, intuitive interface. SmartThings also provides instant music controls, making it easy to start listening and adjust playback from any connected mobile device.
Samsung’s audio lineup also includes the all-new Sound Tower (ST50F and ST40F models) launched in late 2025, offering powerful outdoor and social listening experiences that complement the Music Studio and Soundbar families. Together, these innovations reflect Samsung’s continued leadership at the frontier of home audio, uniting acoustics, design and intelligence to create a sound experience that feels effortless, expressive and deeply connected.

Samsung Electronics today announced its collaboration with iconic British design house Liberty, bringing a curated collection of the brand’s most celebrated designs to Samsung Art Store.1 With this partnership, Samsung Art TV users around the world can now display 20 new designs from Liberty’s rich archive of timeless art and patterns from the comfort of their own homes.

The collaboration merges the elegance of Samsung Art TVs with Liberty’s world-renowned archive, making the stunning designs available as digital artworks for the first time. Samsung curators worked closely with the in-house Liberty team to select patterns that would translate beautifully into a large-scale digital display that is alive with detail, light and color.

“This partnership was driven by a shared desire to celebrate British design in new ways,” said Rachael Roberts, Partnerships Manager at Samsung UK. “With no other British design houses currently represented on Samsung Art Store, it felt like the perfect opportunity to bring Liberty’s unique voice to our global audience.”

▲ One of the most celebrated designs from Liberty named Artemis (2023), shown on 2025 The Frame by Samsung.

Founded in 1875, Liberty has long been a symbol of British creativity and craftsmanship. Known for its distinctive prints and established history of design innovation, the brand’s influence spans art, fashion and interiors. For this partnership, the collection is introduced with Artemis as the featured design — a bold, botanical take on a classic Liberty design. Spanning over a century of heritage and creativity, the collection includes everything from the whimsical Enchanted Wood to the vibrant Jungle Trip design.

“At Liberty, we’ve always believed in design that tells a story, and stories that evolve with time,” said Pere Bruach, Design Manager at Liberty. “Partnering with Samsung allowed us to reimagine our most iconic prints as living art, infusing them with a new dimension. These works, once found on silk and paper, are now reinterpreted for the home — bringing the spirit of Liberty and the timeless beauty of pattern and print into people’s everyday spaces.”

▲ 2025 The Frame Pro showcases ‘Marina’s Tea Garden,’ from Liberty’s Autumn/Winter 2025 collection. This bold floral pattern
has been meticulously recreated to capture the rich colors and subtle tones of gouache brushstrokes. Available as a digital artwork
tailored to Samsung Art Store, it brings character, history and a touch of British charm to living spaces everywhere.

Among the 20 Liberty designs featured, standout works include “Artemis,” “Marina’s Tea Garden,” “Fantasy Land,” and “My Grown Up Star,” from Liberty’s Autumn/Winter 2025 collection. Each design is presented as a digital artwork tailored to Samsung Art Store, bringing character, history and a touch of British charm into living spaces everywhere.

“When selecting the right pieces for Samsung Art Store, we were drawn to those that best encapsulate Liberty’s visual language,” Bruach added. “From nostalgic 1930s florals and hand-painted botanicals to eclectic geometric designs and enchanting landscapes, the collection reflects the full spectrum of our creative heritage. Artemis, for example, felt like a natural fit for The Frame — it speaks to the blend of tradition and modernity that defines both our brands.”

“Liberty’s legacy of storytelling makes them a dream partner,” said Roberts. “Our vision for the Art Store has always been to make art and design that brings meaning to people’s lives accessible, and Liberty’s prints bring exactly that — a daily joy and a sense of place.”

This new collaboration underscores Samsung Art Store’s mission to democratize access to global art, with a growing archive of over 3,500 artworks from the world’s most renowned museums and art institutions. Now, with the addition of Liberty’s British classics, a new chapter in which printmaking heritage meets innovation begins.

Samsung Electronics announced today that its Neo QLED and Lifestyle TVs have been awarded EyeCare Circadian certification by Verband Deutscher Elektrotechniker (VDE), a leading electrical engineering certification institute in Germany. This achievement highlights Samsung’s commitment to developing technology that supports natural circadian rhythms, promoting well-being and visual comfort.

“This certification underscores our dedication to creating products that elevate the user experience by prioritizing eye comfort and reducing visual strain, all while delivering exceptional picture quality,” said Taeyong Son, Executive Vice President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. “We will continue to drive innovations that anticipate and adapt to users’ evolving needs, offering both immersive entertainment and sustainable long-term comfort.”

The certification covers major models across the Neo QLED and Lifestyle lineups, including The Frame and The Serif. Six critical criteria are evaluated when determining when a product is fit for certification: Safety for Eyes, Gentle to the eyes, Flicker Level, Uniformity, Color Fidelity and Circadian Stimulus (CS) index — a framework designed to assess visual comfort and circadian rhythm alignment.

Central to Samsung’s achievement is EyeComfort Mode, which automatically adjusts luminance and color temperature based on time of day and ambient lighting conditions. By simulating natural light patterns, the mode reduces strain during daytime viewing and fosters a restful nighttime environment, aligning with the body’s natural rhythms.

This certification adds to a series of recognitions for Samsung TVs, highlighting their user-centric products and features. The Neo QLED series previously earned VDE’s Circadian Rhythm Display certification, while Samsung’s Lifestyle TVs received Glare-Free verification from Underwriters Laboratories (UL) for reducing visual strain. Additionally, for their exceptional color accuracy, Samsung TVs are Pantone Validated.

Samsung Electronics today announced that eight product series1 in its 2024 Neo QLED 4K and 8K, OLED, and The Frame lineups have received the “Product Carbon Reduction” certification from TÜV Rheinland, the international independent third-party testing, inspection, and certification organization. The certification demonstrates the carbon footprint reduction ratio of these products compared to the previous year’s model, serving as a testament to the company’s efforts to reduce carbon emissions year-over-year.

“As the world’s leading TV manufacturer, it is our responsibility to create products that both redefine TV capabilities while advancing sustainability efforts,” said Yongjae Kim, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics.

“Congratulations to Samsung Electronics. The issuance of Product Carbon Reduction certification demonstrates Samsung’s commitment to environmental sustainability and its actual implementation efforts to reduce carbon emissions and combat climate change,” said Frank Holzmann, Global Vice President of TÜV Rheinland Business Field Electrical, “This recognition will undoubtedly enhance the brand’s reputation and customer trust, further solidifying its position as a leading player in the global electronics market.”

TÜV Rheinland evaluated greenhouse gas emissions for Samsung’s TV products throughout their life cycle- “from Cradle to Grave” — ranging from manufacturing, transportation, use to disposal, in accordance with the internationally recognized standards such as ISO 14067 and ISO 14064-4 as well as TÜV Rheinland’s self-developed standard 2 PfG Q2880/09.23. It verifies and certifies that all of eight TV product series meet the carbon reduction standard requirement set by TÜV Rheinland. The newly certified products include two Neo QLED 8K series, three Neo QLED 4K series, two OLED series and one series of The Frame.

In addition to product certification, Samsung’s Visual Display Business obtained the display and consumer electronics industry’s first “Product Carbon Footprint Calculation Method” certification from TÜV Rheinland. This certification measures and manages greenhouse gas emissions throughout the complete life cycle of a product, collecting and analyzing data in accordance with management regulations and stipulated execution manuals to calculate greenhouse gas emissions and ensure transparent and reproducible results.

As Samsung continues its work to reduce the environmental impact of its products, it aims to achieve TÜV Rheinland’s “Product Carbon Footprint” and “Product Carbon Reduction” certifications for over 60 models in 2024, including newly introduced soundbars. With these eight product series’ carbon reduction result and analysis report, Samsung has more confidence and clear direction in the development and design of the next generation decarbonized TV product.

This recognition builds on previous acknowledgements of Samsung’s sustainability efforts. It obtained its first “Reducing CO2” certification from the Carbon Trust in 2021 for Neo QLED 4K and higher resolution TVs. In 2022, 11 TV models and five monitor and signage products achieved the “Reducing CO2” certification, and most recently, 24 models across Samsung’s 2023 lineup were certified by the Carbon Trust and TÜV Rheinland.
